Men make Women Complete

'Men will be men’, this is how we sometimes address them, tease them or ridicule them but cannot do without them.

On this wonderful occasion of International Men’s Day, I would love to pay my gratitude to two outstanding men in my life who have not only helped me in discovering myself but have perfectly played the role of amazing anchors and motivating mentors at each crucial and critical point in my life. They are none other than my loving father and my better half, Sh. Gopal Krishan Goyal and Chetan Bansal respectively.

Right from my childhood, my father taught me the language of humility and honesty. he is the epitome of righteousness and right-mindedness. He taught me how to think of others first than the self. He has been instrumental in my strong spiritual upbringing, has been the reason of all the knowledge and wisdom I have gathered throughout these years of my life. He is the staunch believer of the principle that ‘education is the best guide and real asset of any individual’. He made all the efforts to provide me with best possible education and guided me on the ‘true path of enlightenment and enrichment’.

I adore my husband since the day I married him. Marrying a stranger was a big gamble, but that gamble turned out to be a jackpot. He not only provided me with best of the living but helped me in carrying on my ‘journey of self-enrichment and self-enhancement’ more deeply and passionately that my father had nurtured, groomed and dreamt of. As a husband, he never imposed conditions and restrictions on me but provided me with conducive environment to help me spread my wings and fly high in the sky. He defined the ‘new connotations of spouse’ for me and has always given me ample space to breathe in and let me live my life on my own terms.

All men are not chauvinists, predators or psychopaths.

Do you really think men have been the only reason for dis-empowering and dissuading women?

There are glorious examples worldwide where men have stood bravely for women, fought for their rights, sacrificed their lives to protect their dignity and heralded new revolutions to grant them equal power and equal rights. history is rich with the examples of doting fathers, loving husbands, and caring sons. let’s think differently today on this international men’s day and rise above sectarian beliefs of squarely blaming the other half of the world.

So today, I strongly felt the urge and surge to write this small note of gratitude for my two core pillars of strength. the world is indeed a beautiful place to live in and we all are imperfects in this beautiful imperfection called life.

Let's celebrate and cheers together this world of imperfection along with each other and create a harmonious, healthier and happier balance between the two different worlds as someone rightly quoted,"men are from mars and women are from venus".

No doubt, men and women are not alike, doesn’t think, act and feel the same way but they are part of one whole or we can say they are the two sides of the same coin. since the dawn of the human civilization, they have co-existed and will continue to do so.

Happy International Men’s Day!!!
