When he uttered Hey Ram

Updated: Sep 10, 2019

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. – Mahatma Gandhi

Powerful words from a profound human being…!!! It has been rightly said, a man can die, but his thoughts never die and you can kill the body but not the consciousness.

For me, Mahatma Gandhi is an institution himself. His life is a true reflection of what dedication, determination and decision are all about. When he realized the true essence and purpose of his life, he did not wait for things to happen. He made the things happen with his sheer grit, determination and strong will power.

He proved to the whole world how one can design one’s life by being committed to the self. He did not compromise on his life principles and remained steadfast on his life’s philosophy despite adverse circumstances, stringent conditions, and universal conflicts. His life was a true replica of what walk the talk means.

He dedicated and devoted his entire life to a cause which was way beyond his personal self. He chose to live for others and sacrificed his personal interests for the sake of national interests. For him his motherland was supreme and he had spent his whole life worshipping and working for the national good which was his highest good for him.

Gandhi’s teachings were as profound as his life. He was the true epitome of real courage, strength and valor. He had truly coined the philosophy of why, how and what to live for. His principles of truth, non-violence, and satyagraha were not just utopian but pragmatic and practical tools to conceive and conquer the turbulent mindsets and tyrannical monopolies.

He proved to the whole world that without using violence, one can achieve what one wants to achieve if he has strong faith and belief in his own ideology and intentions.

He achieved what he had conceived and perceived, with his resolute faith and strong belief. He has rightly set a benchmark and built a conviction, that man aspires what he desires and what he truly desires, the universe conspires.

We all are blessed and privileged that he is the father of our nation and he has left behind a very rich legacy and a stupendous lifetime for us to not only learn, imbibe but also empower and enrich…

Let us live each day of our life in deep gratitude and reverence to this noble soul who had defied all normal norms and had lived a pious, progressive and purposeful life…!!!

Long live the mahatma and his benevolent teachings as what he taught was what he fought for…!!!
