Renowned Spiritual Author Eckhart Tolle said, “Humanity is now faced with a stark choice: Evolve or Die… if the structures of the human mind remain unchanged, we will always end up re-Creating the same world, the same evils, the same dysfunction.”
Beginnings are difficult to make but the limitless vision and hunger to grow holistically in all aspects of life do not stop you; it motivates you, propels you and helps you in achieving your dreams in a bigger and stronger way. For us too, the journey to entrepreneurship was not an easy cakewalk. Coming from a typical traditional middle-class background, entrepreneurship was completely a distant dream. The zeal to do something different, new and bigger was what our subconscious mind always reminded us of and was our common goal and aim in life.
During the course of this small journey, We attended a lot of trainings, events, and seminars which made us better, stronger and wiser but the leadership camp themed ‘Get Rich or Die Trying’ to unleash the lion within, we attended for three days, CHANGED SOMETHING WITHIN.
We realized that we might be born poor but we should not die poor. Getting rich is not an option but a necessity. There’s a stark reality in the statement, “if one wants to have the things which one has never had, one needs to do things which one has never done”. Our parents have grown up working for government organizations, the most sought after thing. After all, it provided a good flow of income, a good status, a sense of job security, and some pension to fall upon after retirement. Even our education system too teaches us on similar lines, but things have changed during the last decade. New age entrepreneurs have stepped in and there are great paradigm shifts which has ultimately changed the overall working dynamics. In private sector jobs, though salaries are lucrative but they come with extra hours of working. Incomes are high, but job security is a big concern. Cash in bank might be more, but time to spend with the near and dear ones and use these funds more fruitfully is nearly nonexistent.
As per the survey published by the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (Assocham), out of every 10 indian professionals surveyed across the metropolitan cities, 4 suffered from general anxiety disorder or depression. If the results of the survey are to be extrapolated, a huge number of indian workers put on a smiling mask to hide their pain as they head to work each day. We earn income because there are things we want to do — we want to live our lives, support our families, explore the world and help others, but with lesser levels of income, our desires remain unfulfilled, directly impacting our index of happiness. It has been rightly remarked in a study conducted by David Clingingsmith, an Associate Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management that changes in family income are important drivers of people’s emotional lives.
And, then what hits the hardest is the fact brought out by Robert Kiyosaki in his famous ‘cashflow quadrant’. We, the employees, along with the self-employed, comprise nearly 90% of the world’s earning population, owns just 10% of the world wealth while the businessmen and the investors, which comprises 10% of the world’s population enjoys the 90% wealth. What an irony?
As humans, we are all born limitless. it is a human tendency that majority of us tend to overlook our strengths and focus more on our weaknesses. If we look at children, they are just like free birds and ready to fly to their limitless potential without much thought and anticipation. Being limitless ultimately is the real purpose of why we were given life, not to be limited but to soar and fly high. It is the mind that rules over the body and mind is the most powerful asset which we all possess.
Living without Limits means Embracing our Freedom.
To realize oneself and one's’ potential, sometimes we must take a rebirth and we experienced the same in the leadership Camp. The energy has been so powerful that we couldn’t resist sharing our experience with our fellow beings.
Day 1 started with a simple mental exercise as of how being alert and following simple instructions we can change the game of life. Steve Jobs saying, “Great things in business are never done by one person. They are done by a team of people” was taught to us by our leaders by forming different teams comprising of total strangers with language and culture barriers. It taught us the most amazing thing that daunting team spirit with varied personalities can work wonders if the intent to excel together is strong enough. Our founder made us realize the importance of emptying our mind as we can only acquire new knowledge and wisdom if we are ready to learn, unlearn and relearn at all stages of our life. And to achieve our goals, we just need to be crazy and passionate. At the end of the day, the whole world salutes successful people only. If the intent is clear, mechanisms automatically follow. Be it Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King or Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 2 started with a simple trekking exercise in silence in the morning wee hours. It brought us closer to nature and was amazingly refreshing and rejuvenating. Talking to self in silence opens the mind and it automatically opens altogether different avenues in life never even dreamt of.
While performing adventurous exercises in the lap of nature, we came to a strong realization that physicality is just a mind game and it is the mental barriers in mind which stop us from performing physically well despite knowing the fact that how important it is to exercise and be physically fit. Healthy physique along with a strong mindset is what is required in life to accomplish any mission and vision. Life is a roller coaster ride for everyone and joys and sorrows are part and parcel of everybody’s life. What we realized and experienced is when we let go our past, how relieved and relaxed we are. carrying the burdens of the past, the road to present and future is exhausting and it leads to nowhere.
Day 3 was something really different when we realized how much right and strong the attitude has to be when the only goal is to change somebody’s life with a very positive intent. Business only grows when people are build through it and not vice versa.
Listening to self-made millionaires was magical as how hard work, strong determination, and dedication can change lives. If we start listening to what other people want, we will never be able to reach our own potential. Limits are set by other people, not our self. If we set a limit for our self, whatever it may be, then we can change that limit. The one thing that has no limit is imagination. what one can imagine, one can become. What stops us from being limitless is our own fears, our own ego.
Fear is nothing but False Evidence Appearing Real.
Law of Attraction really works… What We learned is…
Leaders are not born, they are made. Leadership has to be inculcated and nurtured through selflessness and ready to sacrifice spirit. Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action or example. Leaders lead by examples only.
Discipline is the most important ingredient for success but do we really make an effort to be self-disciplined.
Dreams are designed only by commitment. Commitment to oneself and one’s dreams only makes them accomplished. We all have dreams and they are very priceless and precious to us. But do we care for others dreams is a big question we must realize?
Listening is a great guide and it means overcoming our ego, humbling yourself to accept that a greater Being or the Universe is talking to us.
Reborn is the difference between success and failure. We must make this bold move and let go of all the negativity and worries because as long as we worry about things that are not in our control, we can never grow and be at peace.
Transformation requires going out of our comfort zone and embracing new experiences. Brave decisions in life allow us to rediscover our strengths and re-establish our reasons for doing the things we do today. And with change, we are all reminded that the possibilities are endless.
Do it now. Tomorrow is a dream, yesterday is a memory and today, right now, is the only thing that is relevant and the only way to Live. That’s exactly how you have to overcome your limits-by living in the now.
Fear is nothing but a state of mind and if we look at it practically and logically, we have nothing to lose at the end of the day as pain is temporary, winning is permanent.
The only disability in life is the bad attitude. Self-belief is the only panacea for all challenges.
Never give up should be the only motto in life, true strength comes out only when faced with a storm.
Journey to financial freedom is not an easy walk. It requires a lot of hard work, self-discipline, patience and perseverance.
To achieve something big, we all have to pay a price. Nothing comes for free in this world. Taking a step ahead and moving out of the comfort zone does yield results, provided we strongly believe in ourselves and what we are doing.
Attitude towards gratitude must be the hallmark of our Life and expressing it to someone gives us immense pleasure and gratification. We sincerely thank the organisers for making a big change in our life and guiding us at every step to fulfill not only our dreams but also building and helping others in achieving their dreams too. We thank our family who has stood like rock behind us in our new journey.
