How I found my Hidden Treasure

What prompted me to write this article? Even I don’t know. My Mentor asked me to read a book which I had already read couple of months back. The Beauty of this book is however how many times you read it, its magic and its realizations never fade rather the more you read it, the more enlightened and empowered you feel every time. When I started reading it again, a strong hunch came to me to share all the wonderful things imbibed in it. That is how this write-up came up and it gives me an immense pleasure in sharing all that with you.

The world is a beautiful place to live in. We all cherish the beauty and wonders of nature. But the world we live in is not the same for all of us. It has different meanings and different connotations for everyone. Some experience misery, misfortune or melancholy and others live in peace, prosperity, and abundance.

Have we ever thought why this disparity prevails despite we all originating from the common source?

What we do is try to seek answers outside; maybe because we all are born in different classes, castes, religions or creed; or maybe we all face different challenges, conditions, and circumstances in our respective lives. That is where the irony lies. The answers to all these questions lie within us not outside. I was also reeling under the same impression and seeking the answer to my WHYs of LIFE until I happen to read the wonderful book written by JOSEPH MURPHY, ‘THE POWER OF SUBCONSCIOUS MIND’.

It was mid-september last year, I had gone through a terrible surgery which pushed me nearer to the death-bed. I was in great shock and completely distressed. I had given the charm of life. In those moments of despair and agony, my husband gave me this book to read. I was reluctant to read anything at that point in time but as the saying goes, right things occur at the right time.

Without much inclination, I started reading it but as I started reading it, the very first page changed my entire perception and to my surprise, my reluctance to read it changed into a passionate reading as if I wanted to finish reading it all in one go. The more I flipped through its pages, the more I got engrossed in it. What I realized was that whatever I was seeking form the outside world was completely within me. A strong realization hit me that the hidden treasure which I was looking for myself was within me.

From that day, a new beginning in my life ushered and I started looking at various aspects of life differently. As I began my new journey of life with a different mindset and with a different ideology, things started moving for the better. It was quite surprising and my belief started strengthening more in the laws of nature and specially in the law of belief. As I was seeking more, the dots started connecting that way and I came across certain people in my life unexpectedly and Lo they became mentors and guides in my journey to financial and spiritual Quest.

Nothing in this world can be achieved and accomplished alone; it requires alike minds and similar souls. And the universe grants you all these, if you seek all that with complete belief and absolute faith. And that is what exactly is the litmus test. Our thinking and imagery has been fashioned that way, we do succumb to old beliefs and thoughts despite self-realizations and self-awareness when we face similar challenges and situations. Here comes the role of the GURU, who again ascends us to the path of light from darkness. Life can never be the same; it is a roller coaster ride, sometimes up and sometimes down. How do we react to different situations of life at that point of time, determines our fate and destiny. The reality of our life lies in thoughts we conceive and believe.

It is definitely hard, but it is possible. Since our birth, our mind has been fashioned and groomed in a particular way. The mind plays games as it is the most untamed but through practice, we definitely can achieve what we aspire the most in life. Nothing comes for free; to gain something greater in life we must go through pains also. Here Pain means that we must make a sincere effort to change the gear of our mind to change the course of our life. In a nutshell, I would like to share my realizations with you because my intent is to spread the beautiful message that universe conveyed to me.

  1. Our habitual thinking and belief system are the actual root cause of the problems we face but what we do is indulge in blame game rather. The energy which can be utilized in building ourselves, we waste it in blaming others.

  2. Abundance lies within us, but we seek it outside. What we do is limit our own beliefs through self-doubt and negative self-talk. The sky is the limit we all know but the fear of failure stops us from exploring our own selves.

  3. What we think and manifest for ourselves, becomes the reality. The irony is we don’t think while thinking that our subconscious mind does not distinguish between positive and negative. What we think is what we get irrespective of it being good or bad for us.

  4. We often tend to forget that the creative intelligence that created all of us is the supreme. It is the one that created us, our vital organs, and even a single small cell of our body is the handiwork of this infinite intelligence. But when it comes to our life and its challenging situations, we doubt the very supreme hand. That is where the flaw lies. We doubt that very universe from which we originated.

  5. We are too caught up in the cacophony of different noises that we seldom listen to the voice within. The answer to many of our problems lies within us only but we seldom make an effort to draw out that hidden inspiration and wisdom within us because we ourselves doubt the source from which we have emanated and that is collective consciousness.

  6. In all of us lies an infinite power that can guide us at each step, solve our difficulties, save us from our emotional and physical traumas, and inspire us on the path of freedom, happiness, and peace of mind. But we are too caught up in the web of logic and reason that we seldom believe in it.

  7. We have closed ourselves into the heavy doors of negativity and narrow-mindedness that we tend to ignore the light of positivity. The air around us is clouded with the false beliefs, false opinions, superstitions, and fears that plague the human mind. The air needs to be cleared to see the light of the day and come out of the shallow darkness that has engulfed our growth and development.

  8. We all pray for our better prospects, but do we ever realize the significance of the science behind the prayers. When our prayers are not answered, we criticize and question the source but seldom dwell on the point where our own fault lies. Prayers are answered according to the universal law of action and reaction. They are meant to be done with that complete intensity and with purity of heart and mind.

  9. Our mind is like a rich fertile ground and our thoughts are the seeds that we constantly sow in it. If we will sow the seeds of perfect harmony, peace, and prosperity, greater good will happen in our life but if we sow the seeds of superstition, ignorance, inner strife, fear, sadness, and discord, we will experience poverty, misery, melancholy, darkness, and failure. That is why it is said, “What you sow is what you reap.”

It is easier said than done. It demands a lot of patience, persistence, and perseverance.

For me, the transformation was not an overnight journey. It was the complete overhauling of the personal belief system and the most tedious task. But when things change, they change for the betterment.

What I learned was whatever you ask, seek and believe, the universe grants you with that. But the ‘Power of Intention’ works only when you are honest and true to the source.

With these thoughts I started writing a series of thoughts as my mentor motivated me to write those after seeing a knack of writing in me. In the beginning, I was little hesitant but then I believed in myself and started writing without any doubt and without any prejudice. Each day was magical and the excitement was extreme. Some people laughed at, some ridiculed and some rebuked also but I did not stop as the power of belief had replaced the fear of failure.

It's a great day for me as my 108-Thought Series ‘CONCEIVE-BELIEVE-ACHIEVE’ concluded successfully giving me an abundant joy and a supreme contentment that if you aspire to do something noble with full faith and honest integrity, universe blesses you.

A heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful people who became part of my this short journey and motivated and inspired me at each and every step. A special thanks to my husband and my children who always stood by me like a rock whenever I felt down and unmotivated. They always reminded me of the POWER OF MY SUBCONSCIOUS MIND…

A BIG THANK YOU TO THE ALMIGHTY FOR GIVING ME THIS WONDERFUL LIFE TO DO SOMETHING BETTER AND HIGHER… WITHOUT HER BLESSINGS, NOTHING IS POSSIBLE…!!!

BELIEVE, BELIEVE and BELIEVE and YOU WILL ACHIEVE…
