It was friday, April 19, 2019, I went to experience the full moon meditation at The Centre for Pranic Healing Centre, Pune. Before sharing my experience on the same, I would like to apprise that ‘My Journey’ into healing sciences started in March 2016, when I got the opportunity to explore the alternative wellness sciences. It was a time when I used to experience certain health challenges and I had no option but to resort to allopathic medicines.
Though I was aware of other alternatives; be it Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Naturopathy or Energy Healings but never bothered to try them out.
As it is rightly said, everything has a divine timing. I met Dr. Amitabh. He emphasized me upon the idea of living a medicine free body and a stress-free mind. On the face of it, it seemed to me more of a punchline than something concrete. So, I started exploring about the alternative wellness Sciences on google. It took me couple of months to understand the same as the subject is very vast and deep. And finally going through the entire research, I decided to take this science forward to the people, so that society could be benefitted at large. But to carry forward something, one must experience the same.
Henceforth, I decided to live with a medicine free body and a stress-free mind. It was a completely challenging situation since the body wasn’t ready at that time, but the BELIEF was very Strong.
And the biggest irony was I belong to a doctors family, where medicine ruled the roost. Hence, getting the support and acknowledgement from the family was a daunting and difficult task. I was no doubt labelled as a rebel without a cause, but I accepted the challenge.
I continued to experience some challenges like high blood pressure, headache, throat infection, but I never resorted to any kind of allopathic medicine but took a recourse to bio-energetic healing and homeopathic medicine thereafter. I trained my subconscious by giving directions to that effect. Though it was not easy, but I did not give up.
During all these events, my better half, Gazal used to eat combiflam, a painkiller like a Tonic, as being a Ph.D., she was sitting at home and could not pursue her career because of some personal challenges. Frustration was at the peak on her mind and she was on the verge of breaking down. She used to have frequent bouts of headache and thus resorted to medicine every time. Seeing her in pain and turmoil, I asked her to try the energy sciences as painkiller would harm her liver immensely. Though she too was a critique of the Healing, but on my insistence tried the same. She had couple of sessions with Dr. Amitabh and her intake was reduced drastically, in the span of three months, the count came down from 3-4/week to zero. And till date she has not taken combiflam again. The alternative wellness techniques worked miraculously and with being more mindful, I reduced my weight from 98 Kgs (June 2016) to 85 Kgs (Jan 2017) in six months without getting to any diet/gym. It was primarily controlled with mindful eating.
The journey continued and I experienced a miracle on December 02, 2017. I was supposed to attend a leadership camp near Pune and me along with my team had to report at 8:00 AM in the morning. A day before i.e., on December 01, 2017, I had a headache in the late evening and as the preparations were going on for the camp, I got late to sleep, and the headache increased manifolds. We left at 3:00 AM in the morning for the leadership camp and I was in the driver’s seat. I was repeatedly praying to Lord Shiva, for the healing so that I can attend the leadership camp with full vigor. And in all this hullabaloo, I missed getting my car fueled and the warning signal started flashing. All of us got jittery as to what to do now, if we would be late by even one minute, we would not be allowed to attend the same.
Kehte hain na, ask and it is given. As I was consistently praying to the Lord, he listened to my prayers. It was sharp 5:30 AM, I saw a gate opening form the far. When I reached the point, it was a petrol station and I got down from the car. I just looked around and to my astonishment, there was nothing could be seen in the whole vicinity where my sight could reach. Suddenly, a cool breeze jolted my spirits and me for a moment, I felt a heavenly bliss. All my headache was gone and for a moment I felt as if nothing had troubled me at all. We reached the camp well in time and attended for three days where sleep was a complete miss. We slept for just 3-4 hours in 72 hours and I did not feel the need for it all. It further strengthened my belief in divine healing and till date that BELIEF stands like a rock.
Life moved on and one fine day, I recommended one of my associates, to do the pranic healing course in July 2018. With due gratitude to him, he believed in me and did the same and his journey started unfolding and within a span of six months, he did almost five courses into Advanced, Psychotherapy, Soul workshop and Arhatic Yoga…
As I was going through a financial challenge, I asked my associate to inquire about the same with centre if something can be done. I was asked to take some healing sessions and in that healing sessions, I was made to learn the ‘Twin Heart Meditation’. Though I used to do exercise and meditation but not in a disciplined and regular way. But this time, I took it seriously and accepted a 90 Day challenge in October 2018. For a continued stretch of 90 Days, I did my meditation on regular basis without a break. It is still continuing…
Seeing the experience of my associate and my commitment, my wife also went to attend the basic pranic healing Course in January 2019 and she was completely overjoyed and overwhelmed after her own personal experience. I discussed certain things related to healing with her and my inquisitiveness increased further to go deep dive into it.
I started attending the full moon meditation every month at the center. The basic criterion for attending the course is that the participant must be a basic pranic healer, but as an exception, I could attend the same as I have been doing twin heart meditation nearly for six months regularly. I attended the first full moon meditation in february, followed by another one in march and the recent one in April. All gratitude to the accomplished pranic healer, Ms. Leena Khanke for her continuous support and encouragement.
After attending these three mediations consistently, I was not the same anymore. Something deep down changed massively and I could feel that change every moment. I felt more at peace and could understand things in a better and profound way. My perspectives changed and I started seeing life in new hues and colours.
The sole purpose of this write up is to generate awareness among the fellow being so that they could also be saved from the wrath of allopathic medicines and resort to other alternatives, whereby, they can lead a healthier and happier lifestyle. Pranic Healing neither intends to nor claims to replace allopathic medicines. It's only noble endeavor is to complement and supplement the medical sciences to produce more profound results and provide service to the mankind.
Though there is a lot of information available on the internet on the same but let’s understand it more deeply from some of the valuable insights I gained through these sessions.
The prime purpose of the ‘pranic healing’ is to alleviate the suffering of humanity. A person is a ‘chosen one’ who gets the knowledge of this ‘ancient science’ as it is strongly believed that healing comes to you because of your karmic connect, not otherwise.
In pranic healing, everybody greets each other by saying “Atma Namaste” because it means I salute the divinity within you. The science strongly believes in the presence of divinity within and always seeks the blessings of the divine while healing.
The sessions by the instructor Ms. Leena Khanke are immensely enlightening and empowering as in her sessions, she completely focuses on the basic human qualities of goodness, character building, integrity, and service. She does not ask anybody to follow anything blindly but experience the same.
‘As you sow, so shall you reap’ is the basic tenet and philosophy of Pranic healing. The simple philosophy of ‘goodness begets goodness’ and ‘violence begets violence’ is taught and made understood through various texts and sermons delivered by none other than Grand Master Choa Kok Sui.
The Mantra, ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ has a reverberating effect on your mind. It completely resonates with your mind, body, and soul. According to the Dalai Lama, ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ has the power to “transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.”
Tibetan culture tells us that to deeply know this phrase — to bring it into the very depths of one’s being — is to attain enlightenment. But saying so is not enough, if we really want to achieve oneness with the higher souls, we must practice this Mantra with great discipline and devotion.
‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ Mantra is at the heart of many Buddhist traditions. It is because every one of the Buddha’s teachings is believed to reside within this one powerful mantra. It is repeated to invoke the loving and unconditional qualities of compassion.
Spirituality is all about SERVICE: Your level of service to humanity reflects how spiritually you have grown. Basically, we are spiritual beings. As we are entwined in the cycle of birth and death, we lose ourselves spiritually. Hence to scale up the spiritual ladder, service is the best means.
To attain spiritual enlightenment our score of service should be high but that should be without any attachment, pomp, and gaiety.
When we serve people, we neutralize our negative karma.
Service is always done by being out of our comfort zone as service requires one to go the extra mile and help and heal those in the need.
Like our breath, we inhale in and exhale out. Similarly, as we inhale from God, our family, education, profession, social status and so on. Therefore, we must exhale in the form of service. To understand it more deeply, whatever we receive in this life is the blessing of God and it becomes our duty as well as the right to pay it back in the form of service. As we all are the children of one God.
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui has said in his books, “Doing service develops the heart. Doing service accelerates spiritual development. It is a faster way to develop than meditating alone in the mountains.”
Now, the question arises as to how to get to the path to service. The following measures can help us in attaining our spiritual essence:
As it is rightly said, charity begins at home. Therefore, the first level of service starts at the family level. This can be rendered through various forms; helping and being the part of the household tasks, maintaining the zero stress at home with spouse/parents/siblings/ children, doing the healing, sponsoring rejuvenating and spiritual trips for family members.
Service to children is of utmost importance as they are God’s creation and you are just the medium to groom and guide them. Nurturing and nourishing young souls in the right way, can uplift them and elevate them to be the assets of the society. Later, they can play conducive and constructive role in the wholesome development of the society at large.
Rendering honest and impeccable service to whatever profession we are in, can elevate ourselves spiritually. Providing out of the comfort zone service can pay rich dividends later in life. Whatever work we do; we must put our heart and soul into it. Employment should not be perceived only as a means of livelihood but also a means of service to the society, nation and whole mankind at large.
Service to the society without any profit motive can be the best means to attain spiritual salvation. We must render our wholehearted support to the noble social causes so that our society could be benefitted. Being a part of any social movement and social development can uplift our soul from misery to prosperity.
Another level of service can be delivered by volunteering yourself to be the part of many initiatives launched by various NGOs and government authorities to help the victims of various social atrocities and inequalities, the needy, the downtrodden or the uneducated.
SERVICE leads to Abundance at all levels in our life,
Be it Relations,
Be it Health,
Be it our Emotions,
Be it our Wealth.
Our Growth happens at two levels namely stimulated and functional level.
Stimulated growth is experienced through self-healing and meditation, which is temporary in nature.
Functional growth is permanent one, which one experiences by way of service done from the heart. ‘I AM GIVING as I HAVE RECEIVED SO MUCH’ becomes the Tag Line…
Raise the bar of service on a continual basis. More service always results in more empowerment and more productivity.
“When you do service, your energy level increases. You become a channel. The more you do service, the more you become empowered.” -Master Choa Kok Sui
