When Silence Stimulates

Updated: Sep 10, 2019

In my last article, I talked about my small journey after experiencing the sphere of silence. Today I will go little deeper into this subject. You might be thinking why I want to write more on this subject as I have already spoken of it yesterday. My pure intent is to introduce you to the ‘Beauty of Silence’ so that you can discover yourself more and get answers to many questions which are in the realm of your own subconscious mind. I personally experienced how great ideas come to your mind when you are on your own, away from the worldly distractions whatsoever – the TV, mobile phones and all other modern-day Gadgets.

Silence stimulates the mind. When in a state of undisturbed silence, the mind calms down and its creativity increases manifold. Silence simply connects us to the most creative, confident, resourceful and capable part of us which we hardly get to connect with, due to over-busyness, fear, inner lack or whatever the reasons may be.

Connecting to self is the most amazing process as it leads to altogether different revelations about self which otherwise we tend to overlook or ignore. The real purpose of this is to gain deeper perspective, awareness and full consciousness of one’s own personality, attitude and behaviors; and silence is the perfect environment for discovering one own self.

Silence is inexplicable. Silence can only be practiced and when practiced brings inner tranquility and peace with our surroundings, with our life and with the World. Silence brings us back to the rhythm that is as old as the universe and to the universal source of strength that throbs through every living being in the universe.

Silence is Golden. Silence is a great mechanism that connects your inner conscience to your outer conscious. Silence helps you in the channelization of the positive energy that your inner belief system emanates from within. Silence when practiced brings harmony. What silence preaches you is nothing else preaches you. There is a great need to dwell in the silence of your own mind in order to get the best out of life. To be in Silence means taking control of your life.

Silence helps in discovering your greatest strengths, overcoming your weaknesses, learning the best ways to survive adversities, building healthy relationships, and breaking free from financial struggles and under performance, creating long and lasting peace and happiness, and fulfilling the utmost potential in life.

All this happens when you go deeper into the solitude – the world within you. And If you want to go deeper into the world within you, you will need to go shallower into the world around you; closing the doors of your mind to all distracting majorities. You will have to become comfortable in your own company and access the power of true silence. In Silence, you hear the most beautiful voice and that is the voice within you, your inner voice. The inner peace and tranquility, which gets lost, comes back to you, guides you, drives you, motivates you and propels you. You feel enlightened and enchanted. The voice within you is the most omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.

Silence brings back us to ourselves the love lost within which is very important to win the war within and not outside. In Silence, we become friends with the tremendous force within us that can change our life and that is ‘Our Mind’. We become receivers rather than just doers. We are less active but more alive. When we speak from silence, our words resonate. They are worth listening to, because in them the otherwise silent world finds its true meaning. When silence is exercised consistently and religiously, then each moment of our life becomes deeper and more rewarding.

Silence helps us in reviewing our own thought process. Silence helps in constantly checking our emotions, thereby, honing our thoughts and actions. Emotions need to be checked as they are a very powerful source of energy, whether constructive or destructive. Actions should be free from emotions, specially EGO. There can only be one king, which is either we or the Ego. To get past any adversity-we need to go back to the fundamentals of life-be good, do good… and our conscience, the inner voice within us, will grow. When our conscience is troubled, we cannot be at peace but When we are in unison with our conscience, we sleep like a baby. Over the years, we have crippled ourselves, our thinking through the negativity from the outside world. Silence brings back to us the love lost within.

Ego is nothing but Edging God Out!
